High school students meet on the UC Uptown campus to participate in a 3- week transdisciplinary program that integrates the study of biology and engineering through examining the sensory guidance of animal behaviors with robotics.

Beyond the classroom, the BmE program provides these competitive, paid fellowships for high school students to gain authentic experiences in biology and engineering following participation in previous BmE programming.
